The Emotion-Regulated Interpersonal Communication and Affiliation Laboratory—or simply the ERICA Lab—is the research team led by Dr. Yen-Ping Changatthe School of Psychological Sciences, University of Tasmania, Australia.
Our team is interested in the roles of emotions in social relations. For example, our researchexamines how people express their emotions to others, what messages the expressers "actually want to send" through their expressions, what information the expression targets end up receiving, and, together, how emotions regulate the communication and affiliation processes between both parties.
