Emotion-Regulated Interpersonal Communication & Affiliation

The Emotion-Regulated Interpersonal Communication and Affiliation Laboratory, or, the ERICA Lab, is a research team led by Dr. Yen-Ping Chang in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling of National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan.

We're interested in the roles of emotions in social relations. For example, our research tackles how people express their emotional feelings to others, what people "actually want to say" through emotion expressions, and as a result, how emotions regulate the communication and affiliation processes between everyone of us.
